£27,319 - £35,646 pa (Appointments are usually made on the first point of the salary range)

Fixed Term Contract for 3 years

Warwick Systems Biology Centre is seeking a highly creative and motivated research fellow to participate in a Leverhulme Trust funded research project. The project is on the analysis of protein energetics and protein folding using statistical machine learning and Bayesian computation.

You should have a Ph.D. in computational biophysics/biochemistry or a relevant quantitative field such as theoretical physics, applied mathematics, statistics etc and a strong interest in molecular biology. Programming skills in C are essential and previous experience in any of the following would be advantageous: stochastic computation/simulation, Bayesian methods, protein structure and folding.
